Stacy R. Mahar attended law school at the University of Idaho, where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree magna cum laude from Boise State University. During her time in law school, Stacy interned with the Honorable Candy W. Dale, former Chief Magistrate for U.S. District Court for Idaho and served as President of the Women’s Law Caucus. She is a lifetime member of the Idaho Law Review, where she served as Technical Editor. Prior to joining Leavitt Ryan in April 2018, Stacy worked at a private firm practicing family law and criminal defense. She now exclusively practices family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, and guardianships.
